The goal of the strategy and execution team is to facilitate the development and
execution of a global coordinated strategy, while ensuring alignment with corporate
priorities and helping to drive new revenue streams. The team will partner with
senior management team and all lines of business to develop, refine, communicate
and execute their strategies globally, while ensuring a focus on local markets.
The key focus for 2010 will be partnering with Corporate Strategy to identify and
articulate the most important corporate objectives, align the efforts of these work
streams, and ensure the execution of an integrated strategy. Additionally, the group
will participate in a variety of cross-functional projects aimed at improving alignment
and integration, as well as cultivating and transferring knowledge between the region
and the center.
Role Description
The Product Leader is responsible for supporting the Strategy & Execution team in
the coordination of strategies and plans. S/he has responsibility for supporting
various aspects of cross-functional initiatives, ensuring that all deliverables
and due dates are met. This position requires a highly collaborative and analytical
individual who can work under pressure, cross-functionally and manage aspects of
multiple projects simultaneously.
Major Accountabilities
Demonstrate understanding of Global Products and Services business units in order
to help develop, communicate and execute strategy
Support the development, refinement and communication of division strategies through
analysis, synthesis, presentations and syndication
Manage specific strategic planning and research activities that facilitate overall
growth. Provide insights and information for new and ongoing efforts
Work with various internal and external groups in order to understand and apply
consumer/market trends that may affect the strategy of various lines of business.
Monitor marketplace developments and events impacting the overall global payments
landscape
Contribute to key senior management presentations to assist in the communication
and execution of divisional and individual business unit strategic plans
Collaborate with key cross-functional colleagues that are engaged in the definition,
communication and execution of global, individual business unit strategies
Requirements/Skills
Strong data analysis skills: quantitative, qualitative, conceptual
Strong presentation development skills in both PowerPoint and Excel
Strategic thinking and frameworks
Ability to make recommendations & synthesis data.
