Job Description:

1. Development of Electronics Components; Understanding Customer needs; Spec Definition; Schematic design & production of BOM; Design validation of PCB through supplier: DVP creation; Customer presentation; Simulation request, follow up & validation.
2. The candidate should have more than 4 years of hands on experience in Power conversion / Generation electronic Board/Product design and should have been involved in end to end design cycle involving Interaction with Industrial design team, Layout design, team, Thermal Analysis team and Testing during the Board/product design phase.
3. Engineer should be a good team player and develop and lead a team and should have played similar role in designing products in the Power electronics domains like solar power generation, Uninterrupted Power supplies (UPS), Battery Chargers, Home inverters, LED lighting solutions, AC Motor Drives etc.
4. High frequency, High efficient, Compact, Cost optimized designs of DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters & DC-AC converters for Power step Up/Step down applications.
5. Power supply designs involving Buck, Boost & Fly back topologies, Half Bridge, Full Bridge configurations.
6. Power MOSFET/IGBT/SCR/TRAIC switching circuits.
7. Capacitive and Inductive filter circuits.
8. Isolated/Non isolated power conversions.
9. Battery Charging circuit design for Various Battery Topologies (Lead Acid, SMF, LI-Polymer/ion)
10. Design concepts ranging from low Power conversion circuits (100 Watts) to Mid Power conversion circuits (Kilo Watts).
11. Photo voltaic Cell concepts and MPPT power extraction techniques.
12. Concepts of Grid Tie or Interactive Grid Power converters for High frequency sine wave UPS/Inverter.
13. Circuit and Board (PCB) design concepts.
14. Good knowledge on 8051/ ARM microcontroller based board design and software development concepts.
15. Load & Power Management concepts.
16. Analog & Digital mixed signal and Power circuits design.
17. Problem solving techniques for Switching noise suppression and EMI issues.
